Hello everyone and welcome to BarCamp Nashville 2008! We are so very fired up to be bringing you Nashville's "un"conference relating to digital, new media and technology. BarCamp is free to all of those who would like to attend and is a fantastic way to hear about all of the exciting things happening in Nashville's digital world as well as meet some of your peers from not only Nashville but from all around the country. The event will be a full day of speakers, discussions, and networking in a casual setting that aims to educate as well as foster community.

This year BarCamp will be held on October 18 in the meeting rooms of the Sommet Center. The Sommet Center is located in the heart of downtown Nashville and is the home to our NHL team, the Nashville Predators. Along with a full day of BarCamp related events inside the Sommet Center, after hours events are in the works such as a pub crawl and a group block of seats at that night's Predators game to further the opportunities to chat and get to know your fellow technology enthusiasts.
