Typically, I'm the one telling people "if it was easy, everybody would do it". Unfortunately, I didn't heed my own advice. When I fell into a chance to build an iPhone game, I thought "shouldn't be too hard."
One year later, I'm kicking myself at the time, money, and overall CRAZINESS that goes into developing a mobile app (specifically, an iPhone game called gpsAssassin). I'll share every terrible, back-breaking mistake I made trying to finish what was supposed to be a 3 month project :)
The cards are falling into place for an iPhone and mobile app development heyday like we experienced in the web. This talk will provide evidence of this emerging market, ways to keep development costs down, and real world examples of small businesses creating iPhone apps as a marketing initiative.
