The wheel of life is amazing... Your great grandparents were suspicious of the Phone & couldn't fathom how people could blab for hours on the phone. Your grandparents eyed your parent's cell phone as if it were the devil. For most of you, your parents thought your addition to email and IM was crazy & probably said "Nobody talks to anyone anymore!".

Now, some of the mid-lifers (me @ 30 years old) have scoffed at the 'silliness' of Twitter & Facebook... rolled their eyes when they hear of a teen sending thousands of texts in a month... and have even gone so far as to wear the luddite reputation (non-technical) as a badge of honor.

Are things really changing that much?

I'll cover how it all boils down to our need to communicate & the rest is just mechanics sprinkled with some good-ole fashioned "I don't want to change" human nature.
