The first organizational meeting will be held on Tuesday June 23rd at 6PM in the Conference Room on the 4th Floor of Cummins Station, 209 10th Ave South, Nashville 37203. There is free parking on the street after 6PM (so don’t put too much in the meter!) If you enter through the North Central Entrance (across the street from paid parking lot on 10th Ave side of the building) take a right down the main corridor and a quick left down a hallway to the elevator (“Elevator” sign on opposite wall of main corridor.) Take the elevator to the 4th floor, exit left down a narrow hallway to the main corridor of the 4th floor and look to your right. You will see some modern architectural accents sticking out from the wall about 50ft down the corridor (and maybe a whiteboard sign that says “BarCamp”)

We have some great folks who have helped with PodCamp Nashville and BarCamp Nashville 2008 coming back. If you have NEVER helped with BarCamp or PodCamp, we want you to be there! Organizing these events is valuable experience for everyone who gets involved. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends in your industry and related fields, you learn some event building skills you can take back to your company or other industry groups, and dog-gone-it it is a good reason to get off the couch…helping some of your friends organize a good time for the rest of your friends!
